EuAbout Lab aims to be a bridge between Italian Cultural Heritage and Europe, promoting, supporting, and representing Italian organisations and cultural and creative industries in the context of the European Union.
EAL aims to reach its mission through 4 specific objectives:
Support the uniqueness of Italian cultural heritage, both tangible and intangible, through a medium-long-term strategy of access to European funding programmes.
Promote innovation by the enhancement and protection of Italian cultural heritage, tangible and intangible, and in the use and dissemination of cultural offerings through projects and partnerships between European, transnational and international networks.
Promote the improvement of skills of cultural and creative players through training courses, mobilities and exchanges, stages and periods of work, and traineeships, carried out at European, transnational, and international level.
Represent the needs and interests of Italian cultural and creative organisations as an “Italian system” through advocacy actions.
This objective will be pursued through actions of EU Monitoring and Intelligence Gathering.
EAL will inform on an ongoing basis about European policies and EU funding programmes, in order to identify all the possibilities and opportunities for supporting actions, projects, and initiatives for its members.

This objective will be pursued through EU Networking, EU Proposal Writing, and EU Project Management.
EAL will promote networking and partnerships at a European level for its members through its network of contacts and relationships, involvement in European platforms and networks, and participation in and realisation of events.
EAL is able to propose a medium-long-term strategy of access to European funding programmes and the relative planning and design on the basis of Project Cycle Management, from the concept of the idea to the submission of the project proposal.
EAL is able to carry out the coordination and administrative and financial management of European projects, including final reporting.
A mapping of the networks and organisations present at European level to support actions, projects, and initiatives of EAL members. A periodic/monthly agenda for the most important events at European level in order to promote EAL members’ participation. The EU Networking is free of charge and included in the annual membership fee. EU Proposal Writing and Project Management are marketed services with facilities for EAL members.
This objective will be pursued through Training Courses, Workshops, Seminars, EU Mobilities, Internships, Traineeships.
EAL will provide high-level training courses for all those (cultural organisations, cultural and creative industries, professionals, members and non-members of EAL) interested in deepening their knowledge, as well as acquiring specific professional skills, in the field of cultural planning at a European level.
EAL will implement individual pathways for mobilities and exchanges at European, transnational, and international level; it will promote internships and traineeships from its headquarters as well as at member organisations. It will realize a catalogue for supporting the professional placement of specialised profiles in cultural and creative sectors.
Courses, workshops, and webinars will be organised. Mobility projects, exchanges, internships, and traineeships will be carried out. The EAL Catalogue “Young Professionals for Cultural and Creative Sectors” will be drawn up.
The participation of the Lab for EU Proposal Writing and Communication is free of charge for “Full” Members and is included in the annual membership fee. The other training proposals and services are marketed with facilities for EAL members.
This objective will be pursued through actions of Event Management and Advocacy.
EAL will carry on online and offline communication actions and specific events for promoting the mission and institutional activities of its members at European level. The EAL Brussels Events Space will be available to the members once a year. EAL will promote an annual Forum, for realising and promoting a common platform for sharing works, experiences, good practices, networks, and partnerships among all those who work in the culture and creativity sectors at European level.
EAL will carry on specific advocacy actions in order to represent the needs of Italian cultural organizations and cultural and creative industries in the context of the European Union, by contributing to policy debate through events, public interventions, consultations, research and publications.

The presence on EAL’s online and offline channels, as well as the possibility to use the EAL Brussels Events Space once a year, are free of charge for members and included in the annual membership fee. Specific communication and advocacy advice is marketed with facilities for EAL members.
Being member of EAL means promoting, supporting, and representing Italian organisations and cultural and creative industries in the context of the European Union.
